Day 3 SA Menswear Week

The final day of SA Menswear Week…I don’t know if I should feel relieved or down because its literally been the best adventure but also the most stressful 3 days of my life!

The designers did not disappoint with Magents having the most charismatic show ever ( the designers and models danced on the runway at the end) and a new designer Taf The Taylor showing a very military-focused collection with printed shirts. My favorites of the night had to be ORANGE CULTURE; MERWE MODE; and KIM GUSH.

MERWE MODE killed me with their minimalist approach to everyday pieces but also adding impressive details to each like the fishy graphics on their 2 piece items.. I also fell in love with their textured olive-green shorts and jackets.

KIM GUSH is synonymous with very dark/grungy designs and tonight was no exception. You can always count on her to create extraordinary leather pieces like the one below.

ORANGE CULTURE is a new brand  to me but they have me as a customer from now on thanks to their choice of colour and fabric. I loved their whole 70’s vibe with flared pants; sheer pants; and mustard shirts.
